Pray
It has been said that people do not pray because they are not truly convinced of its power. James made a haunting statement in his epistle. He said, “You do not have because you do not ask” (James 4:2) Jesus stated clearly that prayer was the practice that released God’s provision and involvement in our lives (Matthew 7:7-11). We take prayer very seriously because Jesus did.
For our ministry to accomplish the God size opportunities that are before us, we will need people praying in our behalf. Some of the things we obviously need are:
Clarity - The ability to know God’s present assignments for this ministry
Provision - The resources needed to do what we feel God is asking of us
Protection - The protection of God against the activity of the devil
Partnerships - That God would bring ministries, churches, and organizations to work along side of Good Works NOW
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV)
