The School Of Leadership Development: Nations Training Institute
Providing Biblical training for the most needy and remote frontline shepherds.
Nations Training Institute is brought to a group of church leaders in their region without the need of them traveling to a city. They meet as often as they can depending on their cultural situation. For instance, we did a school in Jiri, Nepal, where these leaders had to trek for 3 days out of the mountains to attend the school. Therefore, this school met for a week twice a year. Other schools meet weekly and some quarterly.
Each school has a trained facilitator who does all the logistical legwork and leads the classes. He is also responsible for keeping roll and distributing the manuscripts after each session. Watch the video above which shows all the nations where schools have been conducted since 2001 as well as the projected new schools for 2023.
Good Works NOW has been committed with its founding parent, Nations Training Institute, to establish leadership training schools for pastors in developing countries. The need of the church in this hour globally is solid, biblically balanced, practical, and culturally sensitive training.
The School of Leadership Development is a training curriculum comprised of one hundred seven (107) core lessons that helps the emerging leader understand his or her new found faith in Christ while equipping him or her to help their congregation grow spiritually.
The lessons were written by a team of seasoned pastors and teachers and are edited for cultural sensitivity. They are then translated into the indigenous language where a school is started. These lessons are given to each leader so they can have the material in their language and continue to study it in the future.
Video Conferences
The video conferences began in response to the shutdowns caused by Covid. Teachers in the USA are able to teach in two day conferences with live Q&A's at the end of each day. Small group discussions take place after each lesson is taught. Conference topics have included spiritual warfare, the Christian & politics, biblical worldview, and the fear of the Lord.
